Cradles to Crayons Learning Center, Inc was founded in 1998 and is licensed by the State
of New Jersey, Division of Youth and Family Services.
We offer full/part time developmental infant/ young toddler/ toddler/ preschool/ pre- k learning for children between the ages of Birth to age 6. Our facility is divided into 5 classrooms according to the child's age. We also have an outdoor play area with age appropriate equipment. Our hours of operation are 7am to 7pm, Monday- Friday, year round for a total of 52 weeks. Our infant center and our learning center accommodates up to 90 children. We are staffed with certified teachers in early childhood education, teaching assistants, and infant caregivers. The basic program includes a comprehensive developmental education for each level of growth. We also offer breakfast and afternoon snack for children over 2 years old. Every infant has a personalized schedule that meets their needs and allows them to develop and grow at their own pace. All of our infants equipment and toys are carefully selected for safety and age appropriateness in order to provide the stimulation needed for your child's development. In our young toddler's classroom, we provide a structured curriculum that gives each child with the flexibility of participating in activities if they desire. Their activities provide an array of experiences. Some of the fun filled activities include arts & crafts, music & movement, language arts, outside play and much more. Toddlers are in a stage that language is quickly emerging, as they become more social and independent. The toddler program is structured and includes activities such as arts & crafts, language arts, math, science, music & movement, gymnastics, and much more. All of their activities are carefully planned so they enjoy and learn from a variety of experiences. In our preschool and pre- kindergarten classroom, we have a structured curriculum that provides each individual child with the skills needed to prepare them for kindergarten. Some of their daily activities include computers by Child's Play, Gymnastics by Dynamic FitKids, arts & crafts, language arts, math, science and Spanish. We believe that a variety of activities in a child's day will not only make each child a well rounded individual but will also give them the foundation in learning that will carry them throughout their life. |
