" About Us "

Cradles to Crayons Learning Center is dedicated to providing the highest quality childcare. We are staffed with 27 staff members which allows us to have a low teacher/child ratio. All of our staff members go through reference checks, criminal and child abuse/neglect background checks. Our staff also completes eight hours of training per year which includes CPR. Our center has security doors,and is equipped with surveillance video cameras in each room, which is being recorded and monitored.

Cheryl Ann Palhares (Owner/ Director/ Group Teacher)

Cheryl, a mother of two children has an Associates Degree in Computers and is a Notary Public. She has worked for over 6 years as an office manager. After the birth of her first child, Cheryl went on to pursue an education in Early Childhood and received her Child Development Associate. While in college she also volunteered at a number of childcare settings. Her experience in computers and management provides organization in all administrative tasks of the center. Her desire to work with children along with her expertise in management led her into the childcare industry. Cheryl is currently one of the group teachers at Cradles to Crayons Learning Center and is also one of the staff members responsible for the day to day activities of the center.
